Belken Engineering Operating Standards

As part of Belken Engineering Operating Excellence program, we have adopted Lean Six Sigma in our standard operating procedures.

By applying the Lean Six Sigma philosophy and methodology, we were able to reduce the number of defects/errors in our projects whilst maintaining efficient and lean operating processes and just-in-time supply chain practice.

In addition to our Operating Excellence program, we have implemented Quality Assurance Systems. Utilising our own proprietary software we are able to control, manage, monitor and improve the quality of our products and services. This further demonstrates our commitment in continuously improving our practice and providing high standard services to our customers. 

We take Safety of our employees and customers very seriously. We have successfully integrated Safety Management Systems into our day-to-day operations. We have invested in our very own Safety Management Systems which has allowed us to measure, monitor, mitigate and address risks accordingly. Furthermore our Safety Management Systems are fully ingrained into our services ensuring the risk exposure of our customers and employees is mitigated.

In conjunction with our Safety Management Systems, we have implemented Zero Safety Program. This program enhances awareness of safety for our employees and customers. We have invested in training programs which help educate our staff and customers in understanding the importance of Safety. Moreover, our Zero Safety Program helps educate our technical staff on how risks can be measured, monitored, reported and mitigated. 

Ensuring that our workplace and work sites are safe for our staff and customers, we have fully incorporated Work, Health and Safety Program into our culture. The WHS program focuses on health risks and safety in the workplace ensuring that our employees understand their responsibility and how to identify, measure, monitor and report those risks. Our WHS program offers our employees with a wide range of training courses including Code of Practice, regulations, hazardous material and dangerous goods, drug and alcohol, security, fire fighting & evacuation, first aid etc.

We embrace P3M methodology. P3M program improves the effectiveness of how we as an organisation deliver our projects, programs and portfolio(s).

We leverage the benefit of P3M methodology to efficiently plan, execute and resource our projects, programs and portfolios. This ensures we deliver our projects on-time and on-budget.
